Except, Just the Opposite..
It is currently 16 degrees in my hometown. No snow, no ice, just dry and freezing. School was cancelled today and will be cancelled tomorrow, too. Thats my state for ya! (lol)
As I sit inside with hot chocolate and mini marshmallows (my favorite), I begin to reflect on how thankful I am for small luxuries such as a warm place to stay, warm food to eat, heated cars, and a sweet puppy to cuddle with. Here she is:

We should always take a second to pray for those who do not have warm places to live or a home to return to each day. If you're out buying a coffee at Starbucks for this cold weather, buy 2 and give one to the man standing on the side of the road with a sign on a piece of cardboard- If it doesn't warm your hands maybe it will warm your heart today.
Below is a video about two guys helping a homeless man. This is the biggest blessing to me and I am SO thankful for people like these guys.
